Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. I Cor 1:25.
For you see, my friends, that not many wise or powerful people are called; instead, it is often the humble and meek who are chosen, as God delights in uplifting the lowly and surprising the learned. In this divine irony, we discover that the simplest among us may have a wisdom that exceeds human understanding, and those deemed weak or insignificant by the world can be strong carriers of His message. Thus, we should not judge based on outward appearances or social status, for true greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven is measured not by human praise, but by a pure heart and a willingness to serve.
Only the meek shall inherit the Kingdom of God, and honestly, it seems like they’ll be the only ones left after the rest of us have shouted each other out of the room. This profound principle highlights that in a world where everyone is trying to out-shout each other for power and braggadocio, meekness is like that calm friend who reminds us that sometimes it’s better to sip tea than to throw tea bags. Embracing a meek lifestyle means we’re all for patience, compassion, and maybe even a little bubble-wrapping of our understanding toward others. Remember, true strength is not in flexing your muscles but in mastering the art of serving others with a smile and a side of grace. So, let’s keep our meekness game strong; after all, who wouldn’t want spiritual blessings and an all-access pass to eternal life, preferably with a good Wi-Fi connection in the Kingdom?
Remember, the foolishness of God, is wiser than men.
