“He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.” Job 5: 19 KJV

The Bible states that as followers of Jesus Christ, there is protection available to us that no government agency can provide. This security is for the followers of Jesus Christ- and not provided to the unrighteous. It is important to make that distinction because people tend to think that they can live their life according to their own fleshly lusts and receive the grace of God in the time of their need. Sorry, it does not work that way. The time for dual lifestyles is up! “In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent.” Acts 17:30.

There are Angels on assignment that will stop danger in an instant. These angelic warriors are assigned to take charge of the Believers safety who live by faith and walk according to the Word of God. God will never withhold His protection from a righteous person unless we default on our agreement- To follow Christ at any cost with all our heart, body, and soul. The promises of protection written throughout the Word of God, will remain consistent and will not cancel unless- we choose to live a life of sin. “Because he loves Me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.”

The Word of God is a powerful guidebook. It repeatedly reminds us that we are under the Divine Protection of God and all of Heaven will support a righteous Believer. Job 5:21 states that “Thou shall be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.”

God assures throughout the Bible: “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” Psalm 91:10.

As cute as the dog is in the picture above, he is not a dependable guardian. I would rather place my trust and safety in God, who does all things well and is dependable! Sin separates man from God. Without repentance through Jesus Christ, we would all be without hope. But now through faith in Jesus Christ we have redemption and protection. Ask the Lord Jesus to come into your life today. Do not wait. He will save you to the utmost and you will be a Believer and receive this protection that we so desperately need in these times.
