For all the law is fulfilled in one word. Even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Gal5:14.

There are all sorts of laws. Parents establish laws to determine how their households should run and relay those laws to their children. My father created laws and I was instructed what those laws were, and that he expected me to obey them. He called them: “the rule of law around here.” He also had no problem enforcing those laws if need be.
Governments establish laws, and sometimes I think they know that people do not take their laws seriously. Voters elect politicians to get the laws they want to be passed. The politicians make great speeches about how they will enforce those laws. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen. Some laws create more chaos than if there were no laws. Eventually, those same people complain and reject those officials who they put in place to establish the laws.
God created laws and He gave those laws to Moses, to pass down to Israel. There were 613 laws to be exact. Not to mention the 10 commandments added as an overall guide to all mankind.
God realized that mankind could not obey any of His laws which included sacrifices for sin. Sin would eventually destroy mankind. So, God intervened with a new plan. He sent Jesus to offer His life as an ultimate sacrifice- His life on the cross. But included in God’s plan was our salvation.
Jesus would rise from the dead. As Peter stated, “This Jesus hath God raised. Whereof we are all witnesses. Acts 2:32. KJV. Jesus answered the sin issue that separated us from God. We now can- through faith in Jesus Christ- ask and receive forgiveness for our sins. Once we ask believing we can live the abundant life that God desired for us. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. Rom 1:16 NIV
Jesus summed up everything by saying: “For all the law is fulfilled in one word. Even in this: ‘You shall love thy neighbor as thyself. “
In other words, Treat others as you want them to treat you., for then all laws will be satisfied and you will truly be free.
