"Give us help from trouble: for
 vain  is the help of man," Psalm 60:11. nkjv

There are things that happen on earth that no man can provide earthly solutions for. No political leader, judge, or lawmaker can give an answer to what happens to people. Not even a pastor.

Tragedies occur and sorrows pursue us. In those times, there are no words to console us when we only feel pain and sorrow. So, as scripture states, “God must give us help from trouble, for vain is the help of man.”

In such times it is a good thing to have faith and to be in a relationship with Jesus. He is the only one that can turn our misery into hope and provide solutions during our times of distress. He gives us hope, help, and direction. Strength for the journey and grace to endure it.

There is a song we sing in church, “Earth has no sorrow, that heaven cannot heal.”

Put your trust in Jesus, for “Vain is the help of man.”
