In your light, we see light Psalm 36:9

There are diverse kinds of light. Manufactured lights, natural lights, and even spiritual lights – some that are not seen by the naked eye. This bible verse speaks of a spiritual light that is so powerful it outshines all lights.  It is a light that emanates from God who once walked on this earth and shined its light on men.

The mystery of this light is that it can outshine all others. That light is Jesus Christ, the son of God. His light exceeds all other lights. Jesus still shines today and leads men and women out of all darkness. Sin brings about physical, mental, and spiritual oppression.  Jesus outshines all spiritual devices the enemy uses to destroy our lives.

The light that Jesus spoke about consumes the darkest place of our soul and replaces it with a fountain of life. If we are willing to accept this light into our lives it can transform us into a beam of light that can draw others to him. Only Jesus can do that. There is no other god that can do what Jesus can do in a man or woman’s life. The dark hopelessness, grief, and injustice that this world offers, can be destroyed by the light of Jesus Christ. Why because Jesus is the light of the world.

If you want Jesus to shed some light on you.  Just pray this prayer. Jesus, I ask that you shine in my life.  I confess that I’m a sinner and I ask you to forgive my sins and bring me into right fellowship with You. I  believe, Lord Jesus that you are the light of the world and that you died and rose from the dead to bring me into your light. I believe that you are the Messiah and the light of this world.  I want to be a follower of you Lord Jesus and I want you in my life.
